Starting with a wireframe, the website is built from scratch using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript pages. During the development process, I performed user-centric analysis (UCA) and used user-centric design (UCD) principles. I also implemented the responsive design using media query to ensure the website adapts well to a variety of screens. The website is also accessible since I incorporated various features such as ARIA labels, alt text, and color contrast among other features to meet Level AA standards. I used tools like WAVE (Web Accessibility Evaluation Tool) to test the accessibility of the website. Furthermore, I utilized Google APIs for fonts throughout the website and a map feature within the website. Additionally, the website features an automatic and manually operated slideshow, hyperlinked images, a favicon, interactive elements throughout the page, a navigation menu with sorting capabilities, and a contact form. This project was initially created for BPA Website Competition team, although I continue to make edits to it.
